Date: March 25, 2021 at 10am MST
Eco El Paso is happy to announce our first event of 2021 and our first event with the public since the Covid-19 pandemic started. We look forward to seeing you in person and planting trees!
Join us on Thursday, March 25th at 10am MST at the Paso Del Norte Trail at the Manny Martinez Dr. trailhead to plant native & drought tolerant trees. This is a part of our AARP Community Challenge Grant that we won in 2020 to install trees, benches, and educational street signs throughout the Thomas Manor neighborhood near Riverside High School and the Border Highway to educate the public about the trailhead in their backyard.
Volunteer online and we will save your information for all future events.
Be sure to bring gloves, a shovel, and you MUST WEAR A MASK to participate; non-negotiable. We will be social distancing and the event will last 1-2 hours or less depending on how many volunteers show up. We plan to have many tree planting events in the future on weekends if you can’t make this event.
